I feel validated and I find that the strategies I have learned from my counselor have helped me in my daily life. She has helped me find more positive aspects of myself that go onto the back burner. My son who is 12 has ADHD, ASD, and DMDD and his counselor does so wonderful with him, and he gets so excited to tell me the strategies that she encourages him to try.
