At the San Luis Valley Behavioral Health Group, we are committed to helping individuals, couples, and families with the challenges they are facing with substance abuse issues.
Outpatient Services include:
Substance use evaluations, individual and group counseling, cognitive-behavioral therapy, dual-diagnosis treatment, Level I and II education and therapy, relapse prevention, linkage to aftercare and support programs, intensive outpatient services, and random drug testing when appropriate.
Adolescent Services: Minors in Possession (MIP), individual and other groups.
Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) options are available through our psychiatric department and we also have some funding available for those who do not have insurance.
Integrated Treatment: All clients are screened and treated for underlying mental health issues and provided integrated treatment if someone also has a mental health diagnosis

We provide a variety of community outpatient services to people in medical clinics, hospitals, schools, jails and homes throughout the six counties of the San Luis Valley.

Jail Services: We provide individual and group services in Alamosa and Conejos jails. Recovery Support Service funds are available for jail-based clients who are transitioning to outpatient substance abuse services.
We accept Medicaid and most private insurances for both mental health and substance abuse treatment. A sliding fee scale is available to those without insurance. We have advocacy funds and other options to help make your treatment possible and affordable.

Crisis counselors are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
